Ever since I was a little girl I loved playing with paper dolls. They brought forth to my imagination of grown up clothes and costumes that as a child wasn’t within my reach. Now I get to relive this time with my Artsylou Girls: Lily, Poppy, Bloom and Lou. I created these imaginary friends a while back as a painting within a mixed media collage. 

My two nieces, Audrey and Harper are also the inspiration in creating with my Artsylou girls for Wings and Halos.Using the printables we create our paper dolls with photo copy paper and draw with crayons & put them together with a glue stick. This project is very flexible and fun for all ages. What I teach in this grown up version is art journaling & mixed media with Artsylou printables using many techniques to layer beautifully and cohesively. I hope these projects brings you joy & satisfaction in learning new skills producing wonderful outcomes that you can be proud of and return to again and again.
