Connecting with nature...
Just recently I have started collecting indoor tropicals to satisfy this particular need: a need to liven my art space & induce creativity. I am happy to admit this organic way I have responded and listened to my inner voice has spilled over to my artwork, inspiring a brand new class I call EXPLORING TROPICALS: a fresh approach to expressive plants
My philosophy in art journaling is to create a safe space where I can explore ideas the feeds my soul, my artful soul and keep me grounded in what is most meaningful to me. I approach art journaling simply, but with lots of layers that create interest cohesively. Building on many skills is shown, expressed and created in each layer which is key and the basis of this course. You will create art journal spreads that are interesting, beautiful and with depth using your own handy work, drawing skills acquired and courage to try something new! With practice you will layer magnificently and with confidence!
Art journaling doesn’t have to be complicated. I approach each layer by creating depth with one technique at a time, a layer at a time. Come join me as you create art journal spreads that not only liven up your hearts but satisfy each craving of your artful soul.

Learn New Techniques
I introduce you to Modern Calligraphy and give you the basics in Lettering as new skills to add to your arsenal in making creative art journal spreads!
